Bastard Children Of The Green Territories

Last up of the improvised sessions, Bastard Children Of The Green Territories was recorded Summer and early Autumn 2009. Includes tracks concerning gang turf war, the plight of the humble sealion, the mighty dragon, CCTV operation, crystal meth and a whole bunch of other weirdness. Bit of mandolin stomp sneaked on there as well. We think this is our best effort yet!

Recorded Spring and Summer 2009, From The Blackstuff encompasses medieval trip hop, stoner jazz, dodgy doctors and questionable barbers. All music entirely improvised by The Tripping Forecast. No animals were harmed in the making of this recording. Well, not harmed in the conventional sense. Perhaps psychologically damaged.

Mid April? Pah. Consider the previously mooted deadlines thoroughly scoffed at.

This album is completely improvised, completely live, and complete madness. Recorded in our praccy room January to March 2009. Tunes about Steve McQueen, travelling by camel, the lack of stock in certain fishmongers, and our Paul Simon tribute Moorfields.

Delay Pedals

Looks like I left the delay pedal on with feedback set to full, I don't think 'Music For Snowplows' is quite going to be ready by the 31st. Here at High 45s we reckon a more realistic forecast is the middle of April. Never mind eh. There's been plenty of new stuff put on the myspace mind:

'Left Out In The Rain' is a work in progress, live version of one of the tunes off 'Autumn Rhythms'.

'Girl From The Blackstuff part 2' is from a nice jam we had earlier in the week.

'Who's The Spider' is another reworked jam, this time we did vocal overdubs and everything.

'Returning Crosses' is a newer recording that's a little bit shorter than the old one and with a bit of a better guitar take.
